About Us

Biddulph Museum was established in May 2008 by local resident Robert Worrall and is a project that continues to grow. The museum is a collection of artefacts and memorabilia available for anyone to view with prior notice. We now need to find premises within Biddulph to enable us to display our items permanently.

We are here to bring our towns history to the people, so that they can learn and understand more of our past. We will try to have as many areas as possible for the public to view.

Our Museum Sections are:

Artefacts Collections
Coal Mining Collection
Coins and Tokens Collection
Library Collections
Paper and Ephemera Collections
Photographic Images Collections
Sports Collection
Stamps Collection

Over time we hope to bring more sections to our museum for you to view and also more articles for you to read.

We hope that this museum will give our town and local schools an area in which they can learn more on our rich and diverse history.

The museum is privately run and funded by myself. It has also had sponsorship from County Councillor Ian Lawson.

We urgently need sponsors so that we can fund premises please help. (See help us page)

Our collections at the moment can only be viewed by appointment, however, we are trying to find premises so that more people can view them. If you would like to see anything we have in our collections or would like us to show them at a fayre or fete, then please feel free to contact us.

Property Needed to House our Collections
We also need somewhere to house all our donated pieces and to use as our museum, so if you can help us with this we would love to hear from you.
